Shape race

Materials:

-A shape sorter (like a tupperware shapeoball), or shapes puzzle. Or any puzzle! The more variety of shapes the merrier.
-Stopwatch, or watch with second hand.

Directions:
Blindfold contestants then time them putting the shapes in the sorter.  This is harder than it sounds!  Winner is the contestant with the best time. (allow younger players to compete without the blindfold.)

Variation:
Blindfold an entire team and have a relay, one or two shapes per person then pass to the next.  Team with the best time wins.

Or skip the blindfold.

Personally:
I still have my husband trying to beat his fathers 11 second time for the Tupperware shape-o-ball!  Blindfolded his best time was just over 3 minutes, I expect that to improve!  (Oh yeah, and I taught my kids shapes with it.)
