T Rex By

I like T Rex by Vivian
French. Allison Bartlett drew the nice pictures. I like
the book because it has a tyrannosaurus in it. I like the triceratops
too. I learned than an albertosaurus, and a gorgosaurus, and a
t rex all eat meat. They are all carnivores. I like tyrannosaurus
bones. I like the hip bones, one faces forward, one faces back.
I think other children should read this book.
Perfect
for a prospective paleontologist!
Adult addition:
T Rex, by Vivian French, is a delightful journey through a dinosaur
exhibit, following a grandfather and his grandson, with a wonderful
twist. All the uncertain information is worded with a 'might'.
I love the refreshing take after so many books full of certainty about
dinosaurs (can you tell my son loves dinosaurs!), there is so much we
don't know and it is so hard to help my son understand that not all
the information given to him about dinosaurs is proven fact.
The book also offers, in each page, smaller writing on ideas and theories,
like the fact that T rex bones have always been found alone leads researchers
to believe they were solitary creatures. I highly recommend this book
to any parent of a small dinosaur lover tired of misleading books.
